A five hour drive to the Mara arriving at lunchtime to the beautiful Tors Camp. An idyllic setting amongst ebony trees on a bend overlooking the river.
Settling into my tented accommodation I heard a loud clap of thunder. The heavens opened and an hour or two of torrential rain fell with massive sparks of lightening brightening up the darkened skies.
A common mammal all over Africa is the Warthog. Burrowing underground to avoid predators it enters backwards with its tusks facing towards anything trying to excavate it for consumption.
The piglets are adorable and scurry after their parent for safety. 
The sound of a captured warthog squealing when captured is akin to fingernails scraping down a blackboard.
